Editorial policy, source methodology, and corrections
AiLens publishes practical AI comparisons and guides for people choosing tools, learning workflows, and understanding model capabilities. This page explains who is responsible, how sources are selected, and how readers can report an error.
Who creates the content?
Content is published by the AiLens Editorial Desk. Pages marked “AiLens Original Analysis” are editorial syntheses written for this site. Pages link to provider-owned documentation, terms, pricing, and policy pages where those sources exist. AiLens does not represent itself as Google, a provider, or a certification body.
How sources are classified

| Primary source checked | A provider-owned product page, documentation page, terms page, privacy policy, or official repository was reviewed. |
| AiLens Original Analysis | The comparison, workflow, or synthesis is written by AiLens and adds interpretation beyond copying a provider description. |
| Last reviewed | The date the page’s material claims were checked. It is not a promise that a provider will not change afterward. |
| Affiliate or commercial disclosure | If a commercial relationship exists, it must be disclosed near the relevant recommendation. No provider buys a ranking. |
How tools are evaluated
We consider capability, access, pricing, privacy, policy, output quality, workflow fit, and evidence. We prefer direct provider sources for current facts and distinguish them from editorial judgment. We do not treat keyword volume, a provider’s marketing claim, or a single benchmark as a complete evaluation.
Corrections and updates
Readers can report factual errors, broken links, policy changes, or unsafe guidance through the site’s published contact route. When a material claim changes, we update the page’s modified date and revise the relevant explanation. We do not change dates solely to make unchanged content appear fresh.
Google Preferred Sources
Google’s Preferred Sources feature is user-controlled. AiLens can provide Google’s official add-to-preferred-source control, but Google decides eligibility and each reader decides whether to select the domain. AiLens never displays a self-awarded Google badge.
