We keep it simple
AI Bureau ("we", "us", "our") operates aibureau.io — a public editorial directory of AI companies, models, and founders. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't build profiles on you. We use minimal analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Data we may collect
- Analytics data — page views, session duration, device type, browser, and country. Collected anonymously with no personally identifiable information.
- Cookie consent preference — we store whether you accepted or declined cookies locally in your browser. This never leaves your device.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider may log IP addresses briefly for security and abuse prevention. These are not stored long-term.
We do not collect: names, email addresses, account information, payment details, or any form of personal identification. No account is required to use AI Bureau.
How we use cookies
We use one functional cookie to remember your consent preference. If you accept analytics, a minimal analytics script may set additional anonymous cookies to measure site traffic.
- ai-bureau-cookie — stores your consent choice (accept/decline). Expires after 1 year.
- Analytics cookies — only set if you click Accept. Anonymous identifiers used to count visits and measure performance.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or clicking Decline on the cookie banner (which appears after clearing site data).
External services we use
- Unsplash — images are served directly from images.unsplash.com. Your browser makes a direct request to Unsplash's CDN. Unsplash may log this per their own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy.
- SimpleIcons CDN — company logos loaded from cdn.simpleicons.org.
We have no advertising partners, no data brokers, and no affiliate tracking on this site.
GDPR & your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Since we collect no personal data, there is typically nothing to access or delete beyond your browser's local cookie storage, which you control directly.
- Right to access — request what data we hold about you
- Right to deletion — request erasure of your data
- Right to withdraw consent — clear your browser cookies at any time
- Right to complain — lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
